Here at Otters and Others Zoo and Conservation all our exhibits are made from recycled materials. We have aluminum can recycle bins available to anyone in the community and are happy to pick up the
We are committed to live green ourselves. Green living is an easy way to directly reduce your carbon footprint and overall global emissions. Here at Otters and Others Zoo and Conservation all our exhibits are made from recycled materials. We have aluminum can recycle bins available to anyone in the community and are happy to pick up these items as well. Please think of us when you are done using items or looking for a place to donate items.

We work to help pollinators by ensuring they have high quality habitat. At Otters and Others Zoo and Conservation we have a designated pollinator habitat, wildlife preservation with native flowers, we restore native milkweed plants for monarchs and have bat boxes for our nocturnal pollinators. We have partnered with Utah Pollinator Purs

At Otters and Others Zoo and Conservation we have a designated pollinator habitat, wildlife preservation with native flowers, we restore native milkweed plants for monarchs and have bat boxes for our nocturnal pollinators. We have partnered with Utah Pollinator Pursuit. The Utah Pollinator Habitat Program is a collaborative effort between Utah Department of Agriculture and Food, Utah State University, Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, Southern Utah University, and USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service. Funding for this program is made possible through HB0224 passed by Utah State Legislature in 2021.

Zoo Doo is a fully composted blend of select animal manures mixed with bedding materials such as straw and wood chips from around the grounds of the zoo. As a conservation organization, Otters and Others Zoo and Conservation is committed to being a steward of the environment and turning animal waste into a valuable resource is just one example of our sustainability efforts.
All the herbivores (plant-eating animals) are happy to doo their part. Tortoises, rabbits, zonkeys, and many more provide plenty of material to work with!
